We’ve added new functional ingredients to your dog’s favorite Edibites flavors!
At Pet Releaf, we are always striving to provide the highest quality CBD pet products for your furry family. We made the conscious decision to evolve our Pet Releaf Edibites line to integrate even more beneficial ingredients for your dog’s overall wellness. We researched and developed every single ingredient to make sure they are useful to specific areas of your dog’s body. We’re excited to share all of the added valuable components to our Calming Edibites, Hip & Joint Edibites, Digestive Health Edibites, and Immunity Boost Edibites!
In our Calming Edibites with Peanut Butter & Carob flavor, we’ve incorporated a beneficial ingredient for dogs, chamomile. Chamomile is a plant that comes from the daisy family that may help promote relaxation and have a calming effect on your dog’s nerves. When situational stress leads to gastrointestinal issues, chamomile may also help manage normal stress due to occasional gastric distress.
Along with chamomile, we have also integrated baobab in our Calming Edibites for dogs. Baobab is a tree that is native to Africa that contains antioxidants and may provide antioxidant support in dogs. With natural antioxidants, there have been several studies that suggest that it may also help reduce oxidative stress. Baobab may help support a normal inflammatory response as well.
In our Hip & Joint Edibites with Peanut Butter & Banana flavor, we’ve added a new ingredient called noni. Noni is a fruit that contains over 160 phytochemicals that can help provide numerous benefits for pets. One of these major components, xeronine can activate proteins and enzymes called pro-collagenase and protease that may help support the structural integrity of the joints and connective tissues.
Another important ingredient that we’ve incorporated in our Hip & Joint Edibites is glucosamine. Glucosamine is a natural substance that is naturally found in the joints and other parts of the body. When pets start to age, their bodies unfortunately start to produce less glucosamine. Glucosamine is then needed to produce the glycosaminoglycans that may help promote healthy joints and maintain normal healthy cartilage and joint function in the body.
Glucosamine and chondroitin are actually combined with one another quite often to have a positive effect on dog joint health. Chondroitin may also help maintain normal healthy cartilage and joint function. This combination has the potential to be very beneficial in supporting both flexibility and mobility in dogs.
Although we did not add any additional ingredients to our Immunity Boost Edibites with Blueberry & Cranberry flavor, we still want to highlight the benefits both blueberries and cranberries play in our CBD chews! Blueberries may promote a normal immune system response in your dog’s body.
Just like blueberries, cranberries may also help support a healthy immune system.
In our Digestive Health Edibites with Sweet Potato Pie flavor, we’ve incorporated ginger as it’s a popular herb that is an antiemetic, which may be helpful for supporting occasional gastric distress. When ginger is consumed, it may help maintain a healthy intestinal tract as well as help normalize gastric function in dogs.
Another key ingredient that we’ve integrated in our Digestive Health Edibites is marshmallow root! Marshmallow root contains an active component called mucilage that may help support healthy digestion and occasional gastric distress. The mucilage in marshmallow root may also help support the protective layers of the bowel and normal bowel function.
