Rescue Releaf: December Roundup

Jan 8, 2021

With our Rescue Releaf program, we are so happy to have the opportunity to support rescue organizations located all across the United States! This holiday season, we were able to donate to 5 rescue organizations nominated by you. Yes, you! Our Rescue Releaf initiative would not be where it is today without your help by nominating the rescue organizations that hold a special place in your heart. If you’re looking to get involved, make sure to nominate your favorite rescue, so we can get in contact!

With your help, we’ve been able to donate to over 9,780 bags of Edibites and 6,760 Boom Bars, equivalent to almost $250,000.00, to 150 rescue organizations and counting with our Rescue Releaf initiative.

From Colorado to Ohio, we’re highlighting 5 rescue organizations we’ve donated to this past December!

Denver Dachshunds Rescue & Transport

Denver Daschunds Rescue & Transport was formed in 2013 with a mission to help dachshunds and small breeds nationwide! Since the beginning, they’ve helped over 1,000 dogs find loving, forever homes. As a foster-based rescue, they cover the food, vetting costs, and anything else that comes up for their foster pet parents!

Grateful Hearts Senior Dog Rescue

Grateful Hearts Senior Dog Rescue is dedicated to responsibly rescuing hospice senior dogs from high kill shelters all across the United States. They primarily have one main rescue sanctuary home located in Chillicothe, OH. As most of their rescues are medically challenged, special needs, or hospice rescues, they provide full medical and comfort care in an indoor home environment.

Canine Partners of the Rockies

Canine Partners of the Rockies is located in Aurora, CO with a mission to train and place highly skilled service dogs with Coloradans with a variety of disabilities. They ensure constant communication with both the human and canine partner to provide hands-on support, encouragement, and ongoing training as needed. Their puppies are specifically bred to become service dogs. Canine Partners of the Rockies make it a priority to truly know their breeders and carefully monitor the puppies from the time they’re born.

Rags 2 Riches Animal Rescue

Rags 2 Richies Animal Rescue is based in Aston, PA with a mission to provide a safe haven for neglected, abandoned, or abused animals by promoting compassionate and humane treatment for all. Through several years of upholding a great reputation and sticking to high standards and morals, R2R became one of the strongest rescues in Delaware County. Now, they’ve expanded to saving animals all across the globe!

Lily’s Legacy Senior Dog Sanctuary

Lily’s Legacy Senior Dog Sanctuary is a volunteer-run, non-profit organization that was established in 2009 to provide a safe and loving home for senior large breed dogs. They focus on senior large breed dogs that have been displaced from their homes and/or abandoned for any reason. They are on a search for finding the perfect forever homes for their adoptable dogs. For dogs who are not adoptable due to certain medical needs, they will be provided a comforting place to stay at their sanctuary or at a permanent foster home.

If you’re looking for a way to join us on our Rescue Releaf initiative, make sure to nominate your favorite rescue organization today!
