It’s a new year of Rescue Releaf! We are so grateful for all of the pet parents who have been nominating their favorite rescue organizations each and every day. If you haven’t had a chance to nominate your favorite rescue for a Pet Releaf donation, fill out our Rescue Releaf nomination form so we can reach out! During these times of stress, we’re honored to have the opportunity to provide relief to animals in need. 

With your help, we’ve been able to donate over 14,526 worth of product, equivalent to $250,194.74, to 168 rescue organizations and counting with our Rescue Releaf initiative.

From New York to Illinois, we’re highlighting 15 rescue organizations we donated to this past January!

AnimaLuvrs Dream Rescue

AnimaLuvrs Dream Rescue is based in Florida that mainly focuses on rescue animals that require medical attention. With many sick and injured animals arriving at their shelter, their goal is to help heal as many as they can and help find their forever homes! Since they started, they’ve rescued, treated, healed, and adopted out over 1,100 fur babies!

Chicagoland Lab Rescue

Chicagoland Lab Rescue is located in the Chicago, IL area with a mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs, specifically Labrador Retrievers. Over the years, they’ve been able to establish an amazing support system with shelters and vets in the Chicago area and beyond.

KC P.A.W.S

KC P.A.W.S stands for the Protective Animal Welfare Society. They’re a non-profit Kansas City, MO rescue that specializes in cases of animal cruelty and neglect. They also provide rehabilitation for traumatized dogs and seek to find homes for adoptable friends.

PittieLove Rescue

PittieLove is a completely volunteer and foster-based rescue serving the New England area. They’re dedicated to the care, understanding, and adoption of the American Pit Bull Terrier. Their main goal is to ensure that their rescue pups will never again suffer from abuse or neglect. 

Second Chance Rescue

Second Chance Rescue is located in New York City, NY with a mission to reduce animal overpopulation in shelters as well as rescue and rehabilitate critically injured and neglected animals. They are advocates and educators that are making a difference one cherished life at a time!

Always and Furever Midwest Animal Shelter

Always and Furever Midwest Animal Shelter is a farmhouse located in Spring Hill, KS where dogs who are old, sick, abused, abandoned, or unwanted come together to rest, live, play, and snuggle! They get to wait in the comforts of a home until they can find a caring, loving family of their own. 

Save Our Cocker Spaniels Rescue

Save Our Cocker Spaniels Rescue works to find forever homes for Cocker Spaniels in need! They are based in the Central to North Florida area, Southern Georgia, Mississippi, and Alabama. But they will also support other areas if they have foster space available.

Nashville Pug Rescue

Nashville Pug Rescue was created in early 2017 after other pug rescues that covered Nashville had closed down. Their main mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home abused, neglected, and abandoned pugs in the Nashville area.

Free Spirit Siberian Rescue

Free Spirit Siberian Rescue was founded in 1999 with a mission to adopt and save as many Siberian Huskies as possible. They work to reduce the number of homeless Siberian Huskies while improving the welfare and education of Domestic Animals. Since the beginning, they have adopted out more than 1,070 dogs and counting. 

East Alabama Humane Society

East Alabama Humane Society is located in Phenix, AL with a mission to promote and save the lives of as many unwanted pets as possible. EAHS is actually the only no-kill shelter within Russell County, Alabama. 

Carolina Poodle Rescue

Carolina Poodle Rescue is a no-kill, limited entry private rescue group based in South Carolina. They provide sanctuary and rehabilitation as well as rehoming poodles, poodle mixes, and other small pups. In June 2016, they reached the milestone of helping 5,000 dogs find forever homes.

Tracy’s Paws Rescue

Tracy’s Paws Rescue is based in Texas with a mission to rescue dogs from shelters located across Texas with pending euthanasia dates. They strive to rehabilitate and socialize dogs to prepare them for life with a new family!

Project Second Chance

Project Second Chance is a community-based rescue in Puerto Rico where the community actually cares for the homeless dogs on its own streets. To do this, they started feeding routes for homeless dogs so they would not die of starvation and dehydration. They also started initiatives to spay and neuter homeless dogs to try and limit the number of puppies born on the street. Project Second Chance asks the community to care for the animals as volunteers, feeders, transporters, and fosters while the rescue provides the supplies and vet care. 

Florida Coastal Cocker Rescue

Florida Coastal Cocker Rescue is a non-profit organization located in Southwest Florida. They are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, as well as rehoming Cocker Spaniels throughout the state of Florida and neighboring states. They rely 100% on donations and volunteers to help provide the right care for the dogs in need. FCCR  carefully screens all of their potential forever and foster homes to ensure each pet will have a safe and loving home.

Colorado Shiba Inu Rescue

Colorado Shiba Inu Rescue is dedicated to rescuing and rehoming Shiba Inus and Shiba Inu mixes in Colorado. While the dogs are at the rescue, they are cared for with spay/neutering, vaccinations, microchipping, heartworm prevention, and any other necessary veterinary care. They also provide post-adoption training for the younger dogs to maintain a lifelong relationship of support with their alumni.
