Rescue Releaf: August Roundup

Sep 3, 2020

Earlier this year, we launched our Rescue Releaf initiative to help rescue animals all across the United States! With this initiative, we wanted to give our audience the chance to nominate their favorite rescue organizations so we can reach out and offer our CBD-infused Edibites to their rescue dogs in need during COVID-19. We hope that our Edibites will help rescue animals have a calmer transition into their foster homes, shelter, or permanent homes!

So far, we’ve had the opportunity to donate over 7,000+ bags of Edibites and 2,200+ Boom Bars, equivalent to $157,500 to over 110 rescue organizations! We’re so thankful for all of the wonderful rescue organizations that are working hard to create the best environments for their rescue dogs and cats during these times of stress.

From Wisconsin to Texas, we’re highlighting 15 rescue organizations we’ve donated to this past August!

Hope For Paws

Hope for Paws is located in Los Angeles, CA and on a mission to rescue dogs, cats, and other animals that may be suffering or neglected in the streets or the wild. They work by rescuing animals in need, proving veterinary care, as well as transferring the animals to their partnership adoption centers! Hope for Paws also has a YouTube channel with over 4 million subscribers where they educate their audience on the importance of taking action and helping reduce euthanasia rates at shelters across the country!

The Little Red Dog

The Little Red Dog is located in Laguna Hills, CA and was founded in memory of a little red American Pit Bull Terrier who unfortunately did not make it. Their rescue mission is based on the book, “The Lost Dogs: Michael Vick’s Dogs and Their Tale of Rescue and Redemption” about a little red dog that was beaten to death because she did not want to fight. The Little Red Dog organization fights to end breed discrimination against American Pit Bull Terriers and wants to help as many animals as they can to find loving, forever homes!
