Meet Pet Releaf’s Veterinarian Team

Nov 5, 2019

In an effort to continually change what healthy means for pets, Pet Releaf has partnered with reputable, established, practicing Veterinarians to create a Veterinary Development Team.

Our Veterinarian team is dedicated to assisting in product development and research for our products. Meet our Veterinarian Team members below!

Colleen E. Smith DVM, CVA, CVCP

Dr. Smith is a graduate of Ross University and has been practicing integrative medicine since 2005. She has predominantly worked with small animals, but in 2008 started her own Equine practice that offered primarily acupuncture and chiropractic treatments for local horse owners. Working in multiple small animal practices has given her an opportunity to learn and apply the principals of conventional Western medicine and recognize the necessity of its integration with alternative treatments. Her current small animal practice in Chattanooga is integrative which encompasses surgery, x-rays and conventional medications to herbal medicine, ozone therapy, stem cell therapy, homeopathy, and microbiome transplants.

She is a certified veterinary acupuncturist through the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society and has a special interest in dietary therapy using principals of traditional Chinese veterinary food therapy. She is also a certified chiro-practitioner in Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation. She is on the board of ChattaNeuter, a low-cost spay/neuter clinic in Chattanooga and the Peer Review Board for the State of Tennessee.

Diana D. Drumm, DVM, CVA, CVCP

Dr. Drumm received her doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from The University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. After graduation, she went on to a residency in comparative medicine at The Scripps Research Institute in San Diego before entering private practice. Over the past 20 years, she has practiced in a variety of settings, from rural mixed animal practice to fast-paced small animal practice, thus strongly developing all her medical and surgical skills in a variety of species.

After completing certification training in acupuncture through the international veterinary acupuncture society in 2005, Dr. Drumm recognized the importance
of integrating alternative treatments in general practice. She has gone on in her integrative education to become certified in veterinary orthopedic manipulation,
Chinese veterinary herbology, ozone therapy, aroma acupuncture techniques, and pursue advanced training in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine, homotoxicology, Traditional Chinese food therapy, Veterinary Osteopathy, and essential oil therapy.

Dr. Drumm currently practices at her completely holistic clinic, The Animal Healing Center in San Diego.
